A HOUSE FOR A FAMILY

This project has the purpose of building a house for families that are victims of the huge earthquake and own a piece of land.
The local church is involved by offering emotional and spiritual support, making regular house visits to these families.

CHS organization will support this project as long as possible, as there are already 60 families waiting for a house to be built for them.

WASHING CLOTHES STATION – ADIYAMAN

In a military camp, CHS has installed 4 washing machines and 2 dryers, to be at over 1000 people’s disposal. Every day, over 50 people come and wash and dry their clothes.
The volunteers that are helping there, are also offering emotional support, encouragement, and even if the religious context is difficult, they are speaking about the love of God with these people.

MOBILE WASHING STATION

The same concept as the fixed washing station in Adiyaman, this washing station is installed in a truck, and 2-3 days it stays in one refugee camp, then 2-3 days in another camp.
Refugees, especially the women, were very excited to have this chance to wash their clothes, because the only other way to wash them is by hand.
